First Thing.

When it comes to habits or routines, my feeling is it is best to do what you need to do first thing!

First thing might mean first thing in the morning, or first thing after work, or first thing before you settle down.

Whichever way it goes, first thing is best. That way you don't give yourself any time for excuses or second guessing. That way, if worst comes to worst, you get the thing done and out of the way so you can move on to whatever else it is you may want to do. Either way, you get the thing you want done and dusted.
